Are you looking at transforming the life of a child by mentoring them from the comfort of your home?

If yes, Bright Future is looking for you!

About the role:
The engagement will be for 6 months, with the next batch from July 2020 – December 2020
This will be a completely virtual mentorship, where the sessions are conducted through phone calls and monthly trainings are also on Google Meet.
Mentors are on-boarded through a three step process before they can interact with youth. I have linked the application form here.
Dates for the next batch:
Last date for Applications – 13th June
Confirmation Mail to Mentors – 20th June
Orientation + Training – 27th June
First Mentor Session – 4th – 5th July
Expectations from Mentors throughout the programme will be as follows:
Participate in all the steps of the onboarding process
Take a keen interest in understanding the mentee and develop a strong rapport with them
Use the curriculum framework provided by Bright Future as a reference, and build on the content as per the knowledge you gain on the student (Sample session attached)
Spend one hour every weekend in a mentoring session and prepare for the sessions as required
Attend mentor group sessions every 6 weeks (4 group sessions in the course of 6 months)

These aids can be created in English, Hindi or any regional language.

Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (Yuva Parivartan) which was cradled in the Kherwadi region of Bandra is now brimming with endless energy and has spread across the entire nation. In 19 years of its existence, Yuva Parivartan has shown tremendous growth. The parent centre has now branched out to over 650 centres across 18 states of India which includes 67 Livelihood Development Centres, more than 600 Partnership Centres, 5 Jail Centres and over 3000 mobile rural camps.
