Are you looking to mentor youth by teaching them critical life skills?

Mentor Together is a non-profit organization that has pioneered the youth mentoring movement in India. Their mission is to provide empowering one-to-one mentoring relationships that help young people from backgrounds of social and economic disadvantage break the inequality of opportunity.

They are recruiting volunteer mentors for their program in Gurugram, Delhi and Noida.
They need volunteers who are willing to mentor youth from low-income backgrounds, studying in government high schools, through 1:1 meetings for a one-year period using curriculum provided my Mentor Together, on critical life-skills. Mentors travel to mentee locations for meetings, up to 2-3 times in a month. Mentors and mentees can fix their own meetings in their free times.
For Gurgaon, mentors will travel to places in and around Sector 45. The mentees go to a low-income private school called Rao Ram Singh Public School. For Delhi & Noida, mentors will travel to places in and around Madavali (Near Talaab Park), West Vinod Nagar & Patparganj. Students are from government schools in these neighbourhoods

Mentor Together will provide initial and on-going training and a curriculum to help you structure your mentorship.

2. Assist in quantitative research, data collection and data entry.
3. Compile and maintain a database of potential collaborators (corporates, organizations international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations)
4. Assist in writing proposals for fundraising applications
The volunteer will need to visit the NGO office at Nariman Point for 4 hours a day on weekdays (Mon-Fri).

They are looking for experienced volunteers from the social sector who would love to join their advisory board for the year 2019-2020. While they prefer professionals from the development sector who have worked with NGOs and social enterprises in the past, they invite individuals from the CSR/ Corporate sectors to serve on the board as well!

They are primarily looking at volunteers who can advise them in the areas of:

1. Financial Management/ Fundraising
2. Programme Designing
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
4. Legal
5. Human Resource Management
6. Leadership
7. Strategy

Volunteers will be expected to:
1. Advise the Managing Trustee on the above-mentioned areas as per expertise.
