Submitting data to Operations for compilation and keeping a backup of the data on weekly basis.

Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent and youth volunteer non-profit organisations. The organisation provides youngsters with a platform to serve the society and bridges the gap between the educated and the uneducated and mentor children from orphanages, slum and village community centres across the country to give them a better future, which will benefit them as well as our country.

For their Annual Running Event which is conducted across multiple cities to promote fitness and raise funds for their education programme and underprivileged children. They require volunteers to help with operations work prior to the event.

CF1116 – Tapping The Talent: Teach a skill to Senior Citizens

8.6 percent of India’s population is over 60 plus in India! As a developing country, we are yet to implement a strong social security system for our senior citizens. Our partner Nightingale Empowerment Foundation (NEF) has initiated a vocational training centre in Bengaluru for people who are 60 plus to train them in skills that are required for them to secure a job and make them economically independent. They have placed many of their beneficiaries in and around Bengaluru.

ConnectFor along with NEF is organizing a one-day event on 6th October to train them on essential software packages. We require volunteers who are good in MS Office to train them.

Do you want to work for the environment with kids and all the way through the medium of art?

If yes, come to be part of DaanUtsav (Joy of giving week) with 300,000 children who will adopt the practice of reuse, reduce and recycle. Join hands with 1187 schools in 450+ locations across Mumbai managed by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)

Be part of Art Paathshala, a 2-hour long session, teaching children to make Paper-Bags with the help of newspapers and create patterns & designs on the same. Children will then donate these to shopkeepers in and around their community encouraging the practice of recycling.

This activity with incúlcate a sense of sharing and giving among the children and also create an awareness about maintaining cleanliness in our society. It will also support the ‘plastic ban’ and help in reducing waste moving towards a cleaner and greener India.

Come participate as volunteer or volunteer leader:

 Volunteer

  • Time: 4 hours in school + 2 hour preparation
  • Material: 3 bottles of joker gum + 3 boxes of crayon (10 piece each) + 7 days newspaper

Volunteer Leader:

  • Time: 4-6 hours x 2 weeks before 6th Oct
