Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust is committed to the welfare of people from the most underprivileged strata of society without distinction of caste, creed or colour. Its emphasis is on assisting children and youth who are citizens of tomorrow and the disabled who needs support to help them join mainstream society. As a part of the Mission Million Books initiative, Ratna Nidhi has distributed over 8 lakh books to more than 3500 underprivileged schools and colleges for free. Their work is very simple but has a lasting effect on the children they distribute these books too.

They need volunteers to sort books at their centre that need to be arranged into different categories on the basis of genres and added in a mini library created at their centre. The volunteer will have to visit their centre in Grant Road, Mumbai, five hours a week anytime between 10 am – 6 pm on Mon-Fri and 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays.

They need a volunteer to teach photography and videography to the deaf students at their school. The volunteer will be helped by the sign language interpreters for communication with the deaf children, have to visit the school in Kalyan at least once a week for a couple of hours.
