Are you looking to teach dance to underprivileged children?
If yes, The Apprentice Project is looking for you!
The Apprentice Project is a non-profit with a vision to transform the Government / low-income school system by enabling holistic development for the students. TAP program aims to deliver this through a choice-based interest club program (students can choose from Visual arts, Performance arts, Sports, or Technical arts) to build socio-emotional life-skills, real-world exposure and opportunities to explore aspirations. Highly-skilled volunteers in any one of the areas are selected as TAP facilitators to run the program through 3-hour sessions once a week in Government / low-income schools. The program runs throughout the academic year of the school.
They are looking for volunteers with expertise in Dance (any form, however freestyle is preferred), a passion to teach children and a commitment to be part of the program for one year. Volunteers from anywhere in Pune can choose to apply, as the location of the opportunity can be matched based on proximity (8-10 kms max) to the residence location of the volunteer.
