CF1450 – Event Planning Volunteer

Do you wish to help an NGO organize events for the Joy of Giving week?

If yes, Proud Indian is looking for you!

Proud Indian is an NGO started with an objective to eradicate poverty in India. They are a small group of friends started the NGO on 26th January 2019 with a quality plan to improve the lives of low-income communities. They have been working together in various projects for the past six years, like for Orphanage kids, Flood Relief, Save Bengaluru Lakes, Urban/Rural Development, etc. They have decided to set up a sustainable income module for the low-income people in slum areas.

They are looking for a volunteer in Bengaluru to plan and organize events for the Joy of Giving Week. The Joy of Giving Week (JGW) or Daan Utsav is a “festival of philanthropy” that aims to become a part of the Indian ethos, with the Week being celebrated every year covering Gandhi Jayanti by engaging people through “acts of giving” – money, time, resources and skills – spanning the corporate, NGO and government sectors, schools, colleges and the general public. The volunteer is expected to come up with ideas for various events planned around the theme and also lead the activities for the Joy of Giving Week.
