They need a female volunteer to mentor underprivileged girls, focusing on life-enhancing growth programmes that allow them to manage their personal and financial aspirations. The volunteer’s responsibilities include meeting the mentee one a month and calling her once a week, attend periodic workshops and mentor-mentee activities, interact with parents of the mentee, give feedback. The locations would be in South Mumbai and western suburbs and the volunteer should commit for at least one-year association with the NGO.

ConnectFor is organizing an indoor planter and paper pen making activity where volunteers will be working on up-cycling of plastic bottles into plant pots, which helps in reducing the plastic pollutants to the environment. These can also be hung indoors and can act as air purifiers. 

Volunteers will also get a chance to work on creating Paper Pens that not only reduce plastic waste but also have seeds that grow into trees. These paper pens, a great alternative to plastic ballpoint pens, don’t just address the plastic menace but because of their ability to be planted, they actually will benefit your immediate environment.
