About the role:
They are seeking a dedicated Curriculum Design Intern to create an engaging teacher development curriculum. You will work closely with the founders to develop learning strategies tailored to help improve specific teaching skills. We’re looking for people with hustle, empathy, and a desire to do something meaningful. This is a part-time internship lasting for a duration of 8 weeks (25 hours/week).
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Curriculum Design Intern, you will be responsible for managing, curating, and writing educational content that aligns with the strategic direction of the company.
• Develop, create, review, and optimize engaging and high-quality training curriculum for given topics in a timely manner.
• Write training sessions that are interactive, inclusive, and engaging.
• Create and curate training tools to support the sessions.
• Collaborate with the founders to define and execute the project.
• Align the training to the company’s strategic goals and core values.
• Attend online meetings for ideation and revisions.

About the role:
They are looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms. The foundation is currently redesigning the website and will soon launch a social media campaign. This is a part-time internship lasting for a duration of 8 weeks (25 hours/week).
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to website design project
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
• Optimize website and social media
• Perform keyword analysis
REQUIREMENTS
• Marketing/Business or Language major
• 1-3 years of experience with Internet and social media platforms
• Fair understanding of the education sector
• Energetic and creative
• Hard-working and team-oriented

3) Program Coordination Intern:
We are looking to hire a Program Coordination Intern to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. The Intern will plan and organize programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. This is a part-time internship lasting for a duration of 8 weeks (25 hours/week) with the potential of full-time employment for the right candidate at the end of the internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support planning and coordination of teacher development program and its activities
• Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc.
• Build partnerships with non-profits, donors, sponsors, schools, and teacher training institutes in Delhi/NCR.
• Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
• Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations, etc.)
• Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
• Support growth and program development.
REQUIREMENTS
• Prior experience in program coordination.
• Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office, Zoom, Google tools, and Google meetings.
• Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and efficient.
• BSW/ MSW or BBA/ MBA with knowledge of the education and non-profit sector.
• Should be able to travel locally in the Delhi/NCR area for coordination purposes.

VASS is a registered non-profit NGO based in Mumbai and Thane suburban areas that work with specially-abled students studying in Municipal schools of Vikhroli, Kanjur Marg, Bhandup, Nahur, Mulund, and Thane. VASS is providing free special services to Children with Disabilities attending BMC and Government aided schools.

Please note: In light of the current situation and spike in the number of Covid-19 cases, we urge you to understand the risks involved in volunteering on-site and to follow the guidelines issued below.

– Volunteering onsite might put you/others at an increased risk of contracting Covid-19.

-Please ensure that you are wearing a mask at all times and maintaining a social distance of 6 feet from the beneficiaries, other volunteers and the NGO staff members.

– If you are using public transportation to reach the location mentioned in the email/phone call, please wear a face shield over your mask.

– Please carry a hand sanitiser and sanitise your hands before you touch anything or anyone at the site. – Please carry your own food and water

– Please cancel your appointment with the NGO if you have been in close contact with a patient or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 even if asymptomatic in the two weeks leading to your volunteering start date.
