Financial Inclusion Training Volunteer

* How many people belonging to the vulnerable section of our society are aware of the various Govt. schemes that benefit them - the Insurance schemes, Loans that are available without collateral at lower rate of interest? * And we are not talking about the rural population but the economically weaker section of our society, living in metros like Bangalore. Less than 2 out of 10, are aware of the Govt. schemes, based on a poll. * To address the concern, our “Financial Inclusion” related initiative is targeted at the economically weaker section of our society * Through the initiative, we spread "Financial Literacy" by disseminating information about various Govt. schemes including Loans, Insurance, and Opening of Bank Accounts, to the participants * And lastly, we ensure “last mile” support by connecting the beneficiaries to the relevant Banks or Financial Institutions, and helping them fill relevant Forms etc. * Volunteers will be given an option to a) provide awareness only, b) provide last-mile support only or c) provide both awareness and last-mile support, it is advisable to get involved in both activities for maximum impact. What's in for you: Exposure to working in a Non-profit organization, chance to give back to the society, gain practical, on-the-job experience  and develop essential soft skills.

* Volunteers who empathise with the cause and wish to be the "Ambassadors of Change" by impating the lives of the economically weaker section of our society * Ideally Volunteers, who have worked or are still working in Banks, NBFCs or Insurance companies are best suited for this opportunity * Volunteers, who do not possess requisite background may still be considered provided they have basic understanding of Banking or Insurance and can communicate effectively with the intended beneficiaries * The identified Volunteers called “MargaDarshaks” or Guides, should be willing to offer their services to the intended beneficiaries, as a service to the society
