Opportunity Description
In association with our Implementation partner NGO, the Environmentalist Foundation Of India, ConnectFor invites you to participate in a clean-up campaign at Marina Beach in Chennai. The trash thrown on beaches includes a variety of plastics, cans, tins, and even food scraps that are disposed of close to the ocean. It takes away the scenic view of the area. Participating in this cleanup effort will allow us to raise awareness about sustainability and the environment as a group and make a difference. Volunteers will be collecting plastic bottles, bags, bottle caps, waste, and garbage off the beach. Volunteers will be provided with the necessary cleaning equipment by the NGO on the day of the activity.
