Cleanup and Waste Management Awareness Volunteers

The Cleanup and Waste Management Presentation activity aims to educate students on effective waste management, emphasizing reduction, reuse, and recycling. Volunteers, well-prepared with a shared presentation, will facilitate interactive learning through team presentations and a quiz. Aiming for maximum student participation, which creates a positive association with waste management education. This initiative contributes to an informed and environmentally conscious community. Renovate India's team will prepare a comprehensive presentation on waste management, which will be shared with the branch SPOC for volunteer readiness. The volunteers, once they on the scheduled date and time will be allocated an unclean area of the school that they need to clean. Once the cleaning part is done, teams will be formed based on class availability. Each team will present on waste management, covering its meaning, importance, and benefits. A quiz session will follow the presentations, with students providing correct answers and receiving small prizes. Refreshments will be distributed to both students and volunteers.
